Recipe: Quick & Easy Skinny Pizza

Pizza is one of the most popular take-away choices and with more and more chains opening it’s getting harder to resist! The problem is we end up consuming anywhere from 600 calories (if you’re being reserved) to a whopping 1,200 calories and being £15+ out of pocket!

So, here is my adjustable recipe for skinny pizza! They taste A-MAZ-ING and they're good fun to do with kids (don’t worry if you don’t have kids, I don’t, and I still find it fun!).

Skinny Pizza Recipe

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 20 mins

Calories: 360-460

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 tortilla wrap

  • 3 tbsp tomato puree/passata

  • 30g grated mozzarella cheese

  • 1 main topping option: (pre-cooked) Chicken – ½ breast 2 slices (chopped) ham Mushrooms

  • 2-3 fruit/vegetables: Spinach Onion Sweetcorn Broccoli Pineapple Olives

Method:

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees/gas mark 4. Bake your tortilla for 5 minutes and then let it cool for a couple of minutes.

  2. Add the tomato puree/passata to the tortilla, covering evenly. Add your chosen toppings and sprinkle the grated cheese over the top.

  3. Bake for 10 minutes and voila!
